Events at Exploratoriet
At Exploratoriet, you can book creative spaces for conferences, lectures, workshops, team building and other events. We offer everything from an inspiring environment to full support with planning – including booking speakers and creating customised programmes based on your needs.
Make your conference more engaging, more interactive and more memorable. Challenge colleagues or clients in a team building activity or a multi-challenge competition as an energetic way to end the day.
We also organise after-work events, family days and other corporate events filled with clever challenges and guaranteed joy of discovery.
When you choose to host your event with us, you also support our mission. Our purpose is to inspire children and young people to explore science and technology, contribute to future skills development, and help make Skellefteå a strong choice for the future.
Team Building at Exploratoriet
At Exploratoriet, teamwork, problem-solving and curiosity go hand in hand. Our team building activities are built around technology, creativity and communication – always with a playful twist.
The Exploratoriet Challenge
Compete in teams and take on challenges inspired by our school programmes – now in an adult version with unexpected twists.
For example, you might:
Each challenge gives points. In the final round, the two best teams face off in a decisive showdown before a winner is crowned.
An energetic and competitive team experience where technology, creativity and collaboration are at the centre.
In Line
A communication challenge where roles and information flow are put to the test.
Each team appoints:
A Manager
A Communicator
Builders
Only the Manager is allowed to see the customer’s specification. The information must be passed on through the Communicator to the Builders – who have access to large amounts of material but no written instructions.
The team that builds the most accurate result according to the specification wins.
An exercise that highlights leadership, communication and the importance of clear instructions.
The Medal Hunt
A strategic and psychological challenge where each participant plays individually – within a shared game environment.
Each participant receives a box. By the end of the game, you want a medal inside your box. The challenge? You are not allowed to look inside your box – except when the game allows it or when someone else gives you the opportunity.
Throughout the game, participants face decisions, negotiations and dilemmas that affect the contents of their box. Information is limited, trust is tested and strategic choices have consequences.
When the game ends, the boxes are opened – and only then do you find out whether you secured a medal.
This activity highlights:
Strategic thinking
Trust and collaboration
Individual vs. group dynamics
Communication under uncertainty
Decision-making without complete information
A thought-provoking and engaging experience that continues to spark discussion long after the game is over.
