Shining metal!

Hold the button under the box where there are stones, so the light goes out. What do you see?

Did you know that:

Tungsten fluoresces when illuminated with UV light.

The boiling point is 5,828 Kelvin, which is the highest of all the elements.

Because tungsten can withstand very high temperatures, it is used in filaments for light bulbs but also in electrodes for TIG welding.

Tungsten is used to make hard, heat-resistant and heavy metal alloys that can be used in the aerospace industry (for example rockets)
